Sault College Admission Process For Recruiting Partners

  1. Sault College will send Intake Opening Notice with policy changes and Program List.
  2. Sault College Regional Managers (RM) will provide each Recruiting Partner with Application Allocation.
  3. Please check student’s eligibility prior to applying:
  • Review admission requirements and Letter of Acceptance (LOA) terms and conditions with students.
  • Student meets academic admission standards for the program.
  • Student meets language proficiency requirements.
  • Student is financially prepared and ready to pay a $2,500 deposit within 2 weeks of receiving the LOA, and the remainder of a minimum of first semester tuition within five weeks of receiving the LOA. It is strongly recommended that payment of a full year tuition be considered.
  • Student will be able to obtain satisfactory Proof of Funds for $20,635.
  • Student will be able to submit study permit application in a timely manner, so as to facilitate approval in time to commence classes.
  1. Making an application on OCAS:
  • Use student’s email address only, and make sure the student checks email regularly
  • Passport should be valid for at least the next 12 months
  • Name    in OCAS must match    passport
  • Ensure address is correct and  is the same  one used in study permit application
  • Program and Intake are selected after careful consideration
  • If you see all programs ‘closed’ to your agency, please reach out to your RM to discuss allocations
  1. LOA will be received in 2-7 business days upon submission of completed application.
  2. Tuition fees are to be paid in accordance with the deadlines set forth in the LOA.
  3. Download PAL from OCAS after we have received first semester fees.
  4. Submit Study Permit application as soon as possible.
  5. Clear conditions in LOA and upload visa documents to OCAS before deadline stated in LOA:
  • If visa is approved, upload Visa Stamp or Letter of Introduction to OCAS to pre-register student as soon as received.  Deadline of pre-registration is 15th day of the month prior to intake starts. Visa Stamp or Letter of Introduction are the only documents that are accepted as visa approval.
  • If visa is refused, request refund in OCAS: "Offer Action – Withdraw Acceptance – Request Refund” and upload visa refusal letter following the instructions in OCAS.
