Vaccination Policy

In accordance with Ministry of Health guidelines, Sault College is implementing a vaccination policy to help keep our campuses and properties safe for staff and students. View the College’s vaccination policy.

This policy is effective September 7, 2021, and highlights include:

Those accessing campus/properties must satisfy one of the following requirements:

1.      Be fully vaccinated against COVID-19

“Fully vaccinated” means having received (a) the full series of a COVID-19 vaccine authorized by Health Canada, or any combination of such vaccines, one or two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine not authorized by Health Canada, followed by one dose of a COVID-19 mRNA vaccine authorized by Health Canada, or three doses of a COVID-19 vaccine not authorized by Health Canada and (b) having received a final dose of the COVID-19 vaccine at least 14 days ago.

OR

2.      Granted an exemption due to an approved accommodation (ex.  Approved medical exemption)

  • those with accommodation must provide a negative rapid antigen test result taken within 72 hours of accessing campus/properties.

The health and safety of our campus community is our top priority and vaccinations have proven to be a safe and effective way to limit the spread of COVID-19.

To support this, staff and students can download the Sault Safe App to     upload their proof of vaccination to allow access into the College. Once your vaccination proof is reviewed and approved by Occupational Health and Safety the App will assign you a QR Code.

Please ensure you download the app and upload your proof of COVID-19 vaccination  to  enter campus.

Thank you for doing your part in helping to keep our campus community safe.
