Sault College Graduates Can Expect a Phone Call

Did you graduate from Sault College in 2019/2020? Expect your phone to ring! Graduates can expect to receive a phone call from Forum Research conducting the KPI Graduate Satisfaction Survey on behalf of the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities (MTCU).

The Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities and its publicly funded colleges have defined five Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure, in a consistent manner across the college system, college performance against ministry stated goals and objectives. The five KPIs are:

  1. Student Satisfaction
  2. Graduate Satisfaction
  3. Graduate Employment
  4. Employer Satisfaction
  5. Graduation Rate

Indicators are determined through three annual KPI surveys administered at all 24 Ontario colleges each year by an independent research firm for the Ontario MTCU. Students, graduates and employers are surveyed to measure their satisfaction with the programs, facilities and services offered by Colleges in Ontario. Current students will be surveyed during the month of February and graduates will receive a telephone survey six months post-graduation. Employers identified during the Graduate Satisfaction Survey will also receive a telephone survey.

KPI results help future students make more informed decisions about their post -secondary education and help institutions identify areas of strength and opportunities for improvement.  Graduates who complete the telephone survey will choose a $5 gift card from a list provided, including amazon.ca (provided by the MTCU). In addition, the college is offering a draw for one (1) $1,000 prepaid credit card for graduates who complete this follow-up. Additional draw information is posted in the graduate follow-up.
