Plant Diversity

This course provides training in the identification of mosses, ferns, lichens, fungi and aquatic plants and introduces the use of the Forest Ecosystem Classification System developed for Ontario. The many field trips to various forest and aquatic environments places emphasis on recognizing community associations of plants in relation to influencing factors such as climate and geology.
