Autonomous Vehicles

Credits:
3
Prerequisites:

This course provides the learner with fundamental knowledge and practical skills essential to autonomous vehicle design for self-driving purposes. The basic methods and principles used for autonomous vehicle navigation will be address, i.e., architecture of the autonomous vehicle, dynamics and kinematics modeling, detecting objects using RGB data processing, using depth data for obstacle avoidance, and designing lateral and longitudinal navigation controllers. Learners will participate in the design of an integrated system to drive an unmanned vehicle within a well structured environment autonomously.

Technical Option Stream: Embedded Systems
