If you are looking to live in Residence January - April 2024, please use the application below.

 

Important Information

1. A meal plan is not required. Meal options for the 2024-25 academic year will be released to Ray Lawson Hall applicants as soon as information is confirmed with our providers.

2.   Your application must be complete and a non-refundable $50 application fee must be received in order to be considered.

3. To be considered in the Early Bird pool of applicants, forms must be received by March 18, 2024 and you must have accepted your program offer of admission.

4. To be considered in the Residence Application Deadline, forms must be received by May 3, 2024. Applications sent after this date will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis following all previous waitlists.

5. Priority is given to first year students who are studying at Sault College for the full academic year (Sept-April) for the first time.

6.   Please ensure you have read and understand the Ray Lawson Hall Handbook and the rights and responsibilities of residents living in Ray Lawson Hall. Ray Lawson Hall has zero tolerance for the unlawful use or possession of illegal substances, and upholds the Liquor License Act of Ontario.

7. Residence is three floors. There is no access to elevators - stairs only.

After you arrive on campus, it is important for you to discuss medical concerns with a Residence Life staff member.

Please identify any medical concerns for which you are under a doctor’s care, or for which you are taking medication.

Any request for accommodation related to medical, mental health or disability (e.g. learning, physical or psychiatric) requires appropriate supporting documentation.

Although we will consider medical information in the room assignment process, not all special circumstances warrant a single room assignment. We take the answers to the above questions into account in matching you with an appropriate roommate or living area, however a complete match may not be possible.
