International Students: How To Apply

We're so excited you have chosen Sault College.  Start by exploring programs including certificates, diplomas, advanced diplomas, degrees, and postgraduate certificates, plus programs eligible for a Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP). Our team is ready to answer your questions and support you through the application process. Just follow the steps below to get started!

 

Steps To Apply

1.    Contact an International Regional Manager.

Find and contact your Regional Manager (RM) based on your region. Your RM will connect you with an agent who will   answer your questions about  programs, PGWP, application deadlines, fees, admission requirements, and work with you to submit your college application. Your agent will be your main contact  until you arrive in Canada.

3. Review Admission Requirements

4. Review Program-Specific Requirements

Some programs may have specific requirements such as  immunizations or work permits for clinical or field placements. Please review the program page on the Sault College website for details. Your agent will also be able to assist you with this information.

5.   Apply to your program(s) of choice.

Please work with your trusted partner agent to submit your College application. Your agent will work with you to apply to your program(s) of interest on the OCAS application portal.  There is an application fee of $150*. This will be required by credit card which will then charge you in your local currency using the current exchange rate. Your application will be reviewed within 5 business days.

When will I receive a Letter of Acceptance (LOA)?

Your application will be reviewed within 5 business days from your submission.

When are my fees due?

Read your LOA entirely and check for the TOTAL DUE and payment procedures, including payment due dates.

How will I know my fees have been received by Sault College?

Your fee receipt will be available on your application portal 3-5 business days after fees have been received.

When will I received my Provincial Attestation Letter (PAL)?

Your PAL will be available on the application portal after your first semester fee is received by the College.

When do I need to apply for my visa?

Apply for your visa as soon as possible. Learn about the visa application process and requirements on the Government of Canada website. Check the visa processing time for your region. Your agent will help you with further questions and steps.
