SSW Community Capacity Building

This course introduces students to community development and community capacity building approaches. Students will gain experience with a variety of assessment tools and community capacity strategies that promote community well-being. Students will develop understanding of theoretical frameworks for community change and acquire basic skills in effective community building through completion of a course project. Significant group and teamwork are expected.
