Join us for a double-header to cheer on the men’s and women’s Cougars!
(Sault Ste. Marie, ON December 13, 2023) – Tickets are now on sale for our annual Winter Classic that’s happening on Saturday,January 13, 2024,at the Northern Community Centre (NCC)! Get ready for an exhilarating day of hockey as both the women’s and men’s hockey teams take to the ice in what promises to be thrilling matchups! Puck drop for the women’s Cougars versus Lawrence Tech is 2 p.m. and our men’s Cougars take on the University of Cincinnati at 7 p.m.
Tickets must be purchased in advance and are $10 (Sault College students and children under 12 free). This includes entry into both games on January 13. Tickets can be purchased in advance by visiting the Sault College’s Athletics Office located in the College’s Health and Wellness Centre.
Both teams have seen amazing results so far this season with the reigning ACHA Women's Division 2 National Champions holding a perfect record heading into the second half, and the men's team close behind with 15 wins and only three losses. We are eager to see the success both teams will achieve in the remainder of the season and hope for the accomplishment of another national title!
