All new for you.

Our School of Business introduces Marketing and Human Resources programs to our already amazing business lineup.

We are excited to now offer  Marketing and Human Resources two-year diploma programs at Sault College.  Our new programs complement our other business programs and deliveries.  From graduate certificates, and pathways to a degree with our partnering universities – there is something for everyone.

We will have  some amazing local business professionals at this event to give students the opportunity to hear from those who have found great success in their careers in business with a focus on marketing  or human resources.

From a marketing director, human resources director to business  starters, learn about the industry and where success in our marketing or human resources programs can take you and your career. 

Business classes from local high schools will be invited to this special event to introduce them to our two new business programs: Business - Human Resources and Business - Marketing and  learn about what you can do with an education and career in business.

    About Our Guest Speakers

    Franca Liguori

    Franca Liguori guest speaker of business event

    Franca Liguori is a proud native Sault Ste. Marie marketer working at OLG, generating profits for the province of Ontario. She has worked on a variety of Lottery brands and portfolios for over 22 years and is currently the Senior Product Manager for National Draw Games. She passionately manages the legacy LOTTO 649 product and its most recent GOLD BALL launch. Franca is also a part time instructor for Sault College and is part of our alumni, having taken the Business program with a specialization in Marketing. In her spare time, Franca can be found teaching at the Ho Shin Sool Martial Arts Club, here in Sault Ste. Marie, that her and her husband manage.

     

    Michael Flammia

    Michael Flammia, a proud Saultite, currently is a Franchisee of two Little Caesars locations in Sault Ste. Marie. In addition to his franchises, Michael is the proud owner of Forty-Five Social, a downtown men’s boutique offering fashionable menswear, men’s grooming and personal care items both online and in-store. Prior to his franchisee and small business ownership endeavors, Michael held a teaching position with the Huron-Superior Catholic District School Board. During his teaching tenure, he    led the St. Mary’s College Business Department, and its Aboriginal Youth Entrepreneurship Program. He also  coached St. Mary’s College Knights Hockey for 10 years, winning back-to-back OFSSA Championships. When Michael isn’t running Little Caesars and Forty-Five Social, you can find him spending time with his wife of 16 years and their two daughters.

     

    Rosanna Naslovar

    Rosanna has worked as a Human Resource Professional for almost 20 years. She received her Business Administration degree at Brock University with an undergrad in Human Resources. She returned to Sault Ste. Marie to complete all her co-op rotations and then remained in Sault Ste. Marie to pursue her career and make it her home. She first worked for the Ontario Provincial Government for almost 6 years in various positions and across many ministries from Intern to Recruitment Consultant. In 2010, Sault Area Hospital was restructuring their Human Resources department, so Rosanna was ready to start her career as a Human Resources leader and moved to Supervisor of Recruitment and Labour Relations. Currently, Rosanna is still with Sault Area Hospital in a manager role and has oversight currently of 25+ staff. As a manager Rosanna has overseen Recruitment and Retention, Organizational Development, Leadership Development Workforce Planning. Rosanna enjoys her career at Sault Area Hospital and making a difference in the Healthcare in the community. Through her career, Rosanna has continued with education and has taken various Human Resources courses and leadership courses. She loves to continue to learn. Rosanna is married with two daughters and a large extended family in Sault Ste. Marie. She loves the city and building her Human Resource profession within Sault Ste. Marie.

     

    Jeff Greco

    Jeff is a passionate entrepreneur and software engineer with over 17 years of experience in starting and growing businesses, most notably Cavera Inc. Cavera is a digital marketing agency providing design, development and digital marketing services to an expanding global clientele. Jeff is a back-to-back Northern Ontario Business award winner, receiving the Young Entrepreneur of the Year award in 2017 and the Innovation award in 2018 with STUFFF Lubricants, and he appeared on season 13 of Dragon's Den where a deal was made with Jim Treliving.   Apart from work, Jeff enjoys being outside, spending time with friends and family, cycling, and men's league hockey.
