The Opportunity: The Curriculum Reviewer will support in the development of e-learning programming for Sault College. The NOHFC intern will have a valuable role in reviewing content submitted by subject matter experts and processing the content through the various development cycles in order for the content to become a robust and engaging online course. The intern will be a part of the Continuing Education department at Sault College and will have the opportunity to interact with various other departments, such as: different academic divisions, library, student services, marketing and Registrar's office. This opportunity will provide the candidate with an ability to enhance their interpersonal skills as they will be responsible for communicating with multiple departments throughout the college to gather the required information to complete the various processes within the development cycle.

What you need to be successful:

  • degree or diploma in Education, Information Technology, Instructional Design, Communications or a related field
  • experience using a learning management system (LMS) considered an asset
  • excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work in an interdisciplinary team environment
  • strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • strong organizational skills and time management skills

This is a Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation contract position funded for one year. In order to be eligible for the position of Curriculum Reviewer, the candidate must have graduated within the last three years from an accredited college or university. The candidate must be a graduate of a post-secondary degree or diploma program. The position will be a first full-time employment in the candidate’s field of study.
