Your College experience is what you make of it, so you’ll want to try to get involved in all the College has to offer while you’re here. Throughout the academic year, you’ll be invited to a wide variety of events that will give you great memories of College life. Pub nights put on by various programs, fundraising activities, and sporting and community events are all fun ways to meet friends and take a break from studying.
To kick things off, be sure to take part in the week-long orientation that’s been planned for you. Comedians, musicians and fellow students will keep you laughing as you make friends that may last a lifetime. Remember to combine entertainment with studying for a full-balanced college education.
Looking to stay connected after Orientation? Sault College has launched Project LIVE; Leadership Initiatives and Volunteer Experience. Students are able to meet new people, learn some new skills, get involved in great events, and contribute to the College community through volunteer experiences. Students have the opportunity to become peer mentors (or be paired with a mentor), develop leadership skills, participate in programs like the Searchmont ski day and Soo Greyhound OHL games, and volunteer with campus and community partners.
