Looking for a home away from home? You can live on-campus in our convenient student residence just steps away from where you’ll learn, or off-campus in a room or apartment that suits you best. Living in Sault Ste. Marie is much less-expensive than life in southern Ontario, so chances are you can save a lot just by moving north for your time at College.
Residence is a friendly place for both serious study and fun. Rooms and facilities are clean, large and spacious, and best of all, come equipped with internet access, full cable and phone, and include free laundry facilities. To live on-campus, you’ll select from two meal-plan options to use at three on-campus restaurants: the cafeteria, Tim Horton’s, and the Outback in the student life centre. Ray Lawson Hall, the student residence on campus, has 140 beds in single, super-single, double, and barrier-free rooms for you to choose from.
If living off-campus is more your style – you can find a place to live as close to campus as you would like. A bus route and Sault College bus connects everything if you aren’t bringing a car. Since the campus is situated in the centre of the city, nearby residents offer rooms, studios, and basement apartments in their homes, some complete with room, board and light housekeeping options. Several safe, clean, and reasonably-priced apartment buildings with studios or one and two-bedroom apartments are also within walking distance of campus.
