Free Group Fitness Classes

Get your sweat on while assisting our students! Staff, students, and community members are encouraged to support Fitness and Health Promotion students by joining their free lunchtime group fitness classes.

Starting  March 3, 2025 through April 17, 2025, classes are held Monday-Thursday from 12:30-1:15 pm in room A1080 at Sault College. There is no cost to attend and all classes are drop-in - you don't need to register!

Through these classes, our students will further develop the knowledge and skills they have gained through their learning, and your participation will be an important part of this growth. View more details and the schedule below.

Note: All participants must complete a Get Active Questionnaire form before joining  in their first class.

Fitness Class Information

Muscle Mix Circuit

Unlock your power with our strength circuit.  This station-based class is designed to build muscle, boost endurance, and enhance overall fitness. 
Instructors:   Ethan, Dylan & Josh
Supervisor:   Lisa Maidra

Total Body Tuesdays

This class is designed to challenge the whole body!  Each session will focus on strength, cardio and core exercises, helping to build muscle and improve endurance.

Cardio Crush

This is a dynamic, full-body HIIT class that combines fast-paced cardio and strength exercises for a total body workout. Challenge your stamina, power and endurance!

Choreo Flow

This class blends high-energy, low-impact choreographed cardio movements with functional exercises that will challenge strength, balance and mobility.

Every class is modifiable to different abilities and fitness levels.  Heather Pusch and Lisa Maidra are both certified Group Fitness Instructors.

 

Parking

Parking is available from Northern 1 or 2 Entrance in the A-Lot metered visitor parking, or from Willow 1 Entrance in the  Daily Parking  lot for $5 upon exit.
