We welcome you to register for the annual Bridge Building Competition hosted by the Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) and Sault College. Register to build a bridge individually or as a group and see what your bridge design can handle! There are over $2,000 in prizes available! Find the registration form and more event details below.
The Bridge Building Competition will be live streamed via Microsoft Teams. Stay tuned for the live stream link.
Bridge Building Kits can be purchased online, beginning at 10:00 am on Thursday, January 30, 2025.
Competition
Friday March 7, 2025
Testing begins 9:45 am
The event will be live streamed via Microsoft Teams. The link to view the live stream event will be provided to participants the week of the event and available here on this page.
Registration
Completed bridges must be dropped off by 7:00 pm on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at Sault College at the Health and Wellness Centre Entrance at F Wing. There will be designated tables within the entrance. Please ensure your bridge is clearly labelled and your registration form is securely affixed to the bridge.
Divisions
Enter individually or as a group (up to 4) in one of four categories:
| Grades 4 and 5 | Elementary |
| Grades 6, 7 and 8 | Elementary |
| Grades 9 to 12 | Secondary |
| Open | General Public |

Participants must order their kits online through Eventbrite by visiting the link above.
Once your order is complete, you will be provided with a time to pick up your materials at Sault College at the Health and Wellness Centre F-Wing Entrance. Please allow for a couple days after your order for the preparation of the bridge building kit.
