How do you apply for Scholarships, Awards and Bursaries?

If you study full-time, you can apply for many different scholarships, awards, and bursaries. Here’s the difference between the three types:

Scholarships are normally awarded on the basis of academic achievement. If you apply scholarships, you’ll need to maintain a minimum 3.0 accumulated GPA.

Bursaries are usually awarded on the basis of financial need.

Awards are usually awarded on the basis of both financial need and academic performance. All scholarships and awards are intended to encourage a high standard of academic achievement.

The Scholarships, Bursaries and Awards application is on the Student Portal under "My Records" in October of each year. You’ll need to fill out and bring it in no later than the deadline that’s listed. Please note that just because you applied that you’re receive something, however, as this is not guaranteed.

Applying on-line application for College scholarships, bursaries and awards is usually all that is needed for any available award.
