1 Year - 2 Semesters Ontario College Certificate
The Kitchen Assistant program prepares you for entry level positions within the food service industry. This program is also designed for students wishing to advance to the Culinary Skills Chef Training program, but who may need some academic upgrading. The program includes food theory classes, explores kitchen operations and allows for hands on preparation of a variety of recipes. You will prepare food and practice customer service skills while on your work placement, in the Colleges Gourmet to Go.
